Changing file extension in Windows is as easy as accessing the Folder Options in Windows Explorer and modifying the default setting to display all recognized file extensions. Just uncheck the option "Hide extensions for knows file types", assuming that you left the setting to the default all this time. Then, changing the extension is just like when you rename a file name.

The problem is: some file names just long enough that I don't want to add it with even a single word more. That's why I keep hiding the extension. This makes me, and you who do the same, has to access the Folder Options and disable the hiding every time an extension needs to be changed.

Select an image to be sketched from your photo collection and select the "drawing parameters" command from the menu. As you can see from the screenshot I took, you can modify the edge treshold and intensity along with the level of the brightness with slide bars, soften the edges, add a frame and select which texture to be used if you want it, and add write some text.

The modification you make can be viewed in real time in the small preview window without having to do the conversion first.

Every move you have taken for every photo can be saved as a profile. This way you can simply load the profile if later you need to duplicate the sketch parameters to the next photo and, if necessary, make a few adjustments.

The result of the sketch can be compared side by side. Both of the original and modified photos can be zoomed and dragged to focus on certain details.

Somehow, you can't rename a file or folder. You try to move it, but it is unable to be moved. Even your attempt to delete it doesn't work, too. The file/folder is locked. You try to close the Windows explorer, but you still can't rename, move, or delete it. A message comes up say that it is being used by another program, but it won't tell which one is. It only says one of these things:

Cannot delete file: Access is denied
There has been a sharing violation.
The source or destination file may be in use.
The file is in use by another program or user.
Make sure the disk is not full or write-protected and that the file is not currently in use.

The old solution would be to restart Windows to be able to delete, move, or rename the locked file/folder. It's a waste of time. If you still do the same way, why don't use Unlocker instead?

With this free program, everything can be done instantly within your Windows explorer. You can rename any locked file or folder using Windows explorer right click menu. No, don't count on Windows itself if you want to create multiple folder faster. Windows doesn't provide you this convenience. It only allows you to create one folder at a time, and you can create another one just after you press the "Enter" keyboard button to apply the name for the folder. How many times you have to press the "Enter" button if you want to create 10 folders or more?

Creating multiple folders won't be that hard when you use this so-called MakeNewFolder. Have I told you that you can even create many folders at once with a click of a button using this free program?

What this program can do for you:

create a single new folder or multiple folders at once using a shortcut key you can define yourself
create multiple folders with their subfolders at once at any structure you like
create many folders in Windows explorer or desktop simultaneously

I use F9 as the shortcut key. So, I press F9, and a mini dialog box comes up to the screen. To create one new folder, simply type the name into the box and press the "Enter" button on your keyboard. Optionally, you can set the program to stay open or automatically close after you create folders.
